La Zynga<\/strong> ha anunciado que cerrar\u00e1 Star Wars: Hunters<\/strong>, el juego estilo hero shooter con jugabilidad y gr\u00e1ficos similares a Marvel Rivals, el d\u00eda 1 de octubre de 2025<\/strong>. A pesar de m\u00faltiples pruebas beta, el juego no alcanz\u00f3 el \u00e9xito esperado por Zynga.<\/p>\n

Lanzado en junio de 2024<\/a>, Star Wars: Hunters<\/strong> es una creaci\u00f3n de NaturalMotion<\/strong> y presenta personajes ic\u00f3nicos de la franquicia Star Wars. Adem\u00e1s del m\u00f3vil, Hunters tambi\u00e9n ten\u00eda versiones para Nintendo Switch y PC.<\/p>\n

El fracaso de Zynga se suma a una larga lista de hero shooters que no lograron despegar en el mercado m\u00f3vil. Entre las principales quejas se encuentran la baja adhesi\u00f3n de jugadores y los bajos ingresos generados por compras dentro de la aplicaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En un comunicado en su sitio web oficial, Zynga anunci\u00f3 la \u00faltima actualizaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y la fecha de cierre del juego. La actualizaci\u00f3n llegar\u00e1 el 15 de abril, y el juego permanecer\u00e1 online hasta el 1 de octubre de 2025<\/strong>, cuando los servidores ser\u00e1n completamente apagados.<\/p>\n

\u201cEntendemos que esta noticia puede ser decepcionante y queremos asegurarles que esta decisi\u00f3n no se tom\u00f3 a la ligera\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el equipo en un comunicado en el sitio oficial. \u201cSu pasi\u00f3n y dedicaci\u00f3n al juego y a la comunidad han significado mucho para nosotros, y estamos comprometidos a brindar visibilidad y actualizaciones durante este proceso de transici\u00f3n.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

La decisi\u00f3n de cerrar los servidores no es una sorpresa. Star Wars: Hunters<\/strong> tuvo una recepci\u00f3n tibia por parte del p\u00fablico. El juego pas\u00f3 m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os en beta en Brasil<\/a>, y cuando finalmente se lanz\u00f3, muy pocos se dieron cuenta. Seg\u00fan datos del mercado, el juego gener\u00f3 apenas 2,9 millones de d\u00f3lares en 2024<\/strong>, una cifra muy por debajo de lo esperado para una franquicia tan popular.<\/p>\n
