The modding community has surprised once again. Hollow Knight: Silksong<\/strong>, the game by Team Cherry that was recently released, has already received a fan-made unofficial Android version called Silksong Mobile APK<\/strong>, created through reverse engineering of the Unity engine.<\/p>\n

According to reports on forums and Discord discussion groups, the adaptation made by Chinese fans uses the game’s original and complete resources and recompiles everything within a modified Unity base into an APK, allowing Silksong to run on smartphones as if it were an Android game<\/strong>. The result is a full APK version<\/strong>, bringing the complete gameplay experience to mobile devices.<\/p>\n

How the Project Started<\/h3>\n

The work originated from members of the Chinese modding community who were already active in the Hollow Knight scene (which also has a full Android APK<\/a>). Using reverse engineering tools, the fans were able to extract and reorganize the game files to work in a mobile environment.<\/p>\n

This process is complex and risky, but it shows the strength of the community in keeping the hype alive for Silksong<\/strong>, one of the biggest releases of 2025, which is even playable via Gamehub emulator<\/a> (video of it running on the emulator<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Bringing Silksong to Android was not just a matter of \u201cporting\u201d files. Even so, it\u2019s important to note that this is a non-official project<\/strong>, without any involvement from Team Cherry. Therefore, the APK could be removed from the internet at any time due to legal reasons.<\/p>\n
