The classic fighting franchise Samurai Shodown<\/strong> is back with a new mobile RPG. Samurai Shodown R<\/strong> has just been released by surprise for Android and iOS. The game is free-to-play and online.<\/p>\n

The new title is being developed in collaboration between SNK<\/strong>, the original creator of the series, and the developer Lumiwave<\/strong>. The announcement marks a bold step for the franchise, which originally debuted in arcades in 1993 and had versions for Neo Geo, Game Boy, and PlayStation.
