Level Infinite has announced that Crossfire: Legends, a revival of the classic mobile shooter originally released in 2018, will be officially relaunched in Southeast Asia on December 16 for Android and iOS.
The game is licensed by Smilegate and went through a pre-registration phase in October, following alpha and beta tests and a period of strong community engagement.
The return marks the re-debut of one of the most popular mobile FPS titles, now co-developed with Tencent Games, which raises expectations for a more refined experience, improved performance, and new gameplay features.
For those who don’t remember, the game was already released in Brazil in 2018, but it failed to gain traction. It now returns in a revamped form.
Classic modes and iconic arsenal are back
With the relaunch, players will be able to revisit some of the franchise’s most beloved modes, including:
- Search and Destroy (5v5), the traditional tactical mode;
- Team Deathmatch, ideal for fast-paced action;
- Hero Mode, featuring more chaotic and intense matches;
- Mutation Mode, confirmed for the regional launch.
In addition, characters such as Fox Howl and Sicaros are returning, along with legendary weapons including the AK47-Beast and the AWM-Infernal Dragon. The new version also promises smoother controls and enhanced visuals, reinforcing the game’s position as one of the spiritual successors to Crossfire Mobile.

Launch restricted to SEA — for now
In this first phase, Crossfire: Legends will be available only to players in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Level Infinite has not yet announced a global release date, but expectations are that more news will be shared in early 2026.
Interested players can already pre-register on the regional Google Play and App Store pages. The relaunch reignites community interest in a competitive FPS alternative to titles such as Call of Duty Mobile and Bloodstrike.
