EA launches The Sims Lab: Life Together in soft launch for iOS in selected regions
Electronic Arts has begun the soft launch of The Sims Lab: Life Together, a new cooperative life simulator from the The Sims franchise. The game is initially available for iOS in three countries: the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden. Before this, the title — which previously used the provisional name “City Life Game with Friends” — went through testing on Android in limited regions.
A new social experience in the The Sims universe
The Sims Lab: Life Together brings back the series’ creative essence, but with an approach more focused on collaboration, casual gameplay, and social activities. The game allows players to create their own Sim, explore the city, and take part in a variety of minigames and challenges with other players.
Available activities include:
- Fashion Passion, a runway mode where the player can “walk the catwalk”;
- Social minigames such as Secret Sim;
- Unlocking and decorating your character’s first apartment;
- Managing your own café or completing missions to unlock new content;
- Exploring shops like the Thrift Shop to find exclusive clothing.
With refreshed visuals and a focus on fashion, style, and interaction, the game promises to be an appealing entry point for newcomers as well as fans of the classic versions — especially those who drifted away from recent installments of the franchise.
