And the emulation world is surprised once again by the great feats of Android emulators. This time, the moment’s release, the Metroidvania Hollow Knight: Silksong, one of the most anticipated games of the year, is also available… on Android! Thanks to the emulators Gamehub, Winlator, and Eden.

Gamehub is a Windows emulator for Android that allows for quick and easy setup. The emulator even seems like it was already prepared for Silksong’s launch.
See below:

Who discovered that Silksong was compatible with Gamehub was none other than the legend of emulation news, our dear Mr. Linguiça!
PC Emulation
According to Mr. Linguiça, he is emulating the game natively, and offline, meaning no video streaming or cloud.
As you can see, he tested Silksong on a Redmagic 10 Pro smartphone with an attached GameSir G8 Galileo controller. The game recognized the controller automatically and gameplay is smooth without any issues. The game is even running at over 120 FPS on Android.
It’s also possible to see there is some headroom for emulation, with the GPU and CPU around 50%, which indicates that it might be possible to run the game on more modest devices as well.
Silksong is being sold on Steam for only R$ 60. During the launch, Steam’s servers even went offline for a few seconds due to the massive number of accesses.
[UPDATE]
After we posted the article, we were informed that Winlator can also emulate Silksong perfectly, but it requires some extra configuration.
Switch Emulation
Mr. Linguiça also clarified that Silksong currently does not run on any Switch emulator for Android.

And he bought both versions
And before any annoying fan comes to complain about emulating indie games, it’s worth remembering that Mr. Linguiça made it very clear that he bought both versions, both PC and Switch, to test.
Furthermore, we also recommend that those who are going to emulate buy the PC version on GOG.com, which costs only R$ 60.
[UPDATE]
After we posted the article, a user on X informed us that the game is running perfectly on the Switch emulator Eden, even reaching 150 FPS on the POCO F5.

Fans always find a way to play Hollow Knight on mobile
Will Silksong be ported to mobile by fans, as happened with the first game? Since Team Cherry has no interest in releasing the game for Android, it seems that fans always find a way to play their games on mobile.
