Officially released yesterday (25), the game Vox Seas — formerly known as Blox Seas and Demon Piece — was abruptly removed from Roblox just 18 hours after its launch. The reason: a copyright claim, which according to the game’s creator, Jhon, may have originated from a possible competitive attack.

Meteoric rise and sudden fall
Since its announcement, Vox Seas had been gaining traction in the community of fans of One Piece-inspired games. On its first day, the game had already surpassed the player count of some of Roblox’s biggest pirate-themed experiences, such as Blox Fruits itself.
According to an official statement by Jhon on social media, the game was taken down due to a copyright violation report. The creator points out that Roblox’s system automatically removes any reported experience, even without immediate verification. Furthermore, he claims that the person responsible for the report is already known for carrying out similar actions against other projects.
Rivalry and sabotage suspicions
Although the creator did not directly mention Blox Fruits, the player community speculates that the report may have come from supporters or even members connected to the rival game’s team.
The rivalry between the two communities has been growing in recent weeks, especially following the rise in Vox Seas’ popularity on social media and YouTube, where sneak peek videos surpassed Blox Fruits content in views.
At launch, Vox Seas needed only 30 minutes to surpass the concurrent player count of Blox Fruits.

Response and promises
In his statement, Jhon says that the development team has already filed a legal appeal with Roblox to prove the project’s originality. He also emphasized that everything was done with “authenticity and dedication,” and thanked the community for their support:
“Thank you for every message, for every player who believed in our project. This community is our greatest strength.”
Social media movement
On social media, hashtags like #VoxSeas, #NosSomosAVoz and #ResistimosJuntos went viral, with players expressing support for the development team and calling for Vox Seas’ return to the platform.
What to expect now?
The Vox Seas team is awaiting a response from Roblox regarding the appeal. If accepted, the game could return in the coming days. Meanwhile, debate grows over how the platform’s report system can be used as a weapon in disputes between communities.
It remains to be seen whether this removal will be just a temporary setback or the beginning of a silent war between two of Roblox’s biggest pirate games.
