GONE WRONG! Netflix will remove dozens of games from its subscription service.

A disaster for mobile. Netflix’s gaming division continues to face turbulence. Following the cancellation of several projects and internal leadership changes, the platform has announced it will remove 22 games from its mobile games catalog starting July 15. Among the titles leaving the service are big names such as Hades, Monument Valley 3, Carmen Sandiego, and Raji: An Ancient Epic.

The move represents nearly 20% of Netflix’s current mobile games catalog, suggesting a possible shift in strategy. It’s worth noting that the company also recently canceled the releases of Don’t Starve Together and Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game, and even removed Crashlands 2 before it officially launched.

Full list of games being removed

According to Netflix, games leaving the platform can be identified with a “Leaving Soon” label in the library. See the full list:

Most of the games being removed are licensed IPs or from third parties, suggesting Netflix may be reevaluating its agreements and approach. Nevertheless, some of these games are confirmed to be launching on other platforms. Monument Valley 3, for example, will be released independently later this year.

The focus may shift to big-screen gaming

Sources close to the company suggest that Netflix intends to slow down its mobile game launches to prioritize more robust titles, especially geared toward big screens like consoles and smart TVs. However, new titles are still in development. Upcoming releases include WWE 2K, Spirit Crossing, and Netflix Puzzled, the latter already in testing phase.

Despite this unstable moment, Netflix reaffirms its commitment to the gaming market and promises new experiences for subscribers. But for those who still want to play any of the titles listed, it’s best to hurry — all will be removed from the catalog on July 15, 2025.
