ATTENTION! SEGA will remove these mobile games — Download them for free now!

SEGA has released nine classic games for Android and iOS for free. Among the titles are iconic names like Sonic CD Classic, Crazy Taxi Classic, Golden Axe, and Virtua Tennis Challenge. The games are available at no cost, with no ads and no in-app purchases — but the offer is for a limited time only.

The games were part of the former SEGA Forever program, launched with the goal of bringing Mega Drive and other platform classics to mobile. The project was officially shut down in 2023, but the games remained active on the stores until now.

With the final end of support approaching, SEGA has decided to unlock the games in their full versions. No ads, no in-app purchases.

The only condition: players must download them before they are removed from the Play Store and App Store — which can happen at any time.

No ads, no purchases, just nostalgia

In addition to being free, the games now work entirely offline, with no ads and no payment required to unlock levels or features. It’s a rare opportunity to play SEGA’s classics exactly as they were originally intended.

The end-of-support warning appears discreetly when opening the apps, with a message informing players that the games will no longer receive updates. However, they will continue to function normally if installed.

Previously removed titles missing from the offer

Some Sega Forever classics had already been removed earlier, leaving no trace on the stores:

  • Phantasy Star Classics
  • Altered Beast Classic
  • The Revenge of Shinobi Classic
  • Vectorman
  • Decap Attack
  • Comix Zone
  • Ristar
  • ESWAT: City Under Siege
  • After Burner: Climax
  • Space Harrier II
  • Beyond Oasis
  • Gunstar Heroes

Take advantage while you can. Download SEGA’s games before they disappear from stores — and from history.
